Our Partners
Susan graduated from the University of South Africa with her Bachelor of Accounting honours degree in 1991. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991. Susan completed her training contract with Morrison Murray (Baker Tilly Morrison Murray) in 1991. Susan was appointed partner in 2005 and became Managing Partner in 2011.
Oveshan joined the firm in 2003 after completing his Bachelor of Accounting Honours with the University of KwaZulu. Oveshan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. After completing his training contract in 2006, he was seconded to California, USA for a short period of secondment during 2007. Oveshan was appointed a Partner at RSM SA Durban in 2008 where he has been practicing until the merger with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2019.
Peter graduated from the University of South Africa with his Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2001. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008 after completing his training contract. Peter was appointed a Partner at RSM SA Durban in 2008 where he has been practicing until the merger with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2019.
Jason graduated from the University of South Africa with his Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2001 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. Jason completed his training contract with a medium-sized firm in the Upper Highway Durban area where he was appointed as a Director in 2006. Jason was appointed a Partner at RSM SA Durban in 2008 where he has been practicing until the merger with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2019.
Kamini joined the firm in 2012 after completing her Bachelor of Accounting Science degree with the University of South Africa. Kamini qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015 after completing her training contract. She was seconded to Connecticut, USA for a short period of secondment during 2015. Kamini was appointed as an associate in 2020 and then as partner in 2023.
Nicolette graduated from University of South Africa with her Honours Bachelor in Accounting Science in 2008. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 after completing her training contract. Nicolette was appointed as Partner of Baker Tilly Morrison Murray on 1 March 2020.
Michael graduated from the University of South Africa with his Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2001. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 after completing his training contract. Michael was appointed a Partner at RSM SA Durban in 2002 where he has been practicing until the merger with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2019.
Paige joined the firm after completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degree and her Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Paige qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2019 after completing her training contract. Paige was seconded to Mauritius for a short period of time during 2020. Paige was appointed as associate in 2024 and then partner in 2025.
Nivashnie joined the firm in 2016 after completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Degree and her Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Nivashnie completed her training contract in 2019 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2020. Nivashnie was appointed as associate in 2024 and then as partner in 2025.
Ashmeetha joined the firm in 2016 after completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Degree and her Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Ashmeetha qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2019 after completing her training contract. Ashmeetha was appointed as an associate in 2024 and then as a partner in 2025.
Monique graduated from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN) with her Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Accounting) Degree in 2005. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor in 2009, following the completion of her training contract with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2008. Monique was appointed Partner in 2010 until 2023. After taking a career break, Monique returned to Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2025 taking on a new role as Human Resources Partner, Training Officer and serving as the National Monitoring and Remediation Partner.
Our Consultants
Barry graduated from the University of South Africa with his Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science in 1985. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. Barry completed his training contract with Hills Howard in 1981. Barry was appointed Partner in 1987 where he has been practicing until the merger with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray in 2019.
Gary joined Hudson Langham and Morrison in 1971 and studied part time at the University of KwaZulu Natal and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976. The firm merged with Roberts Haley and Murray in 1986 to become Morrison Murray. Gary left Morrison Murray in 1991 and joined Hills Howard as a Partner. Gary retired in 2019 and will remain with the merged firm Baker Tilly Morrison Murray as a Consultant.
